Founder
Emily Murphy Kaur, M.A., M.S. co-founded Setu Vermont in 2018 and teaches yoga in the Krishnamacharya lineage with training in Chennai and Mysore, India. She is an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, researcher, and published author whose work bridges traditional wisdom with modern scholarship.

Harmeet Singh was born and raised in India, immersed in yoga, Ayurveda, and spiritual study from an early age. He brings this foundation into his work at Setu Vermont, blending meditation, creative expression, movement, and joyful practices with his background in innovation and creative thinking.

Vaidya Jayarajan Kodikannath
Academy Director of Kerala Ayurveda USA, Visiting Faculty
Vaidya Jayarajan Kodikannath is the Academy Director of Kerala Ayurveda USA, leading international academic programs in Ayurvedic education. An experienced Ayurveda scholar and practitioner, he also serves on the curriculum committee for Bastyr University’s Master’s in Ayurveda and the board of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA).

Dr. Padmini Ranganathan
Certified Ayurvedic Doctor, Visiting Faculty
Dr. Padmini Ranganathan is a BAMS-trained Ayurvedic physician with decades of clinical experience in India, including rural healthcare and private practice in Mysore. She teaches internationally on Ayurveda, yoga–Ayurveda integration, and advanced therapies, and currently offers courses for yoga students online.

Tara is a certified yoga therapist, Vedic chanting teacher, and Level-2 Ashtanga instructor who integrates Ayurvedic nutrition, yogic healing, and lineage-rooted wisdom into everyday life, weaving classical study and food-based healing to support holistic well-being.
