Things To Know Before You Visit

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES:

Check-in time is 4PM to 6 PM. Check-out time is 11 AM. We discourage late check-in. If you have an extenuating circumstance that prevents you from arriving during the check-in window, we have a 1-hour grace period (until 7pm) at additional fee. This must be requested prior to your stay. As a retreat center, we cannot accommodate check-ins later than 7pm. With this in mind, please plan your travel ahead, as traffic coming from major cities can be a barrier to on-time check-in.

DEPOSITS

For retreats, we ask that you pay 1/2 the total amount at time of registration and can be made with Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.

Personal checks: Full payment must be received prior to processing your registration. There is a $20 charge for checks returned due to insufficient funds.

Retreat CANCELATIONS and CHANGES

As of April 13, 2025, our updated cancellation and refund policy will apply to all new bookings.

Refunds: Available up to 15 days before your program or stay, minus a $50 processing fee per person. 

Nonrefundable Credit: If you cancel between 14 days and 1 day before your program or stay, you can receive a nonrefundable credit (less a $50 processing fee per/person) applicable to any future program or stay within one year. 

No Refund or Credit: Cancellations on the arrival day, no-shows, or early departures are not eligible for refunds or credits. 

Spa CANCELATIONS and CHANGES

Please give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. A 50% fee will be charged for late cancellations and a 100% fee for no call no show will be invoiced.

TAX

Includes Vermont Rooms & Meals tax of 9% plus a Local Option Tax 1%.

CHILDREN

We require all guests with children to please book via phone, so we can assure the proper arrangements are made to accommodate your stay. We are unable to accommodate children under 12 years of age. 

PETS

No pets are allowed. Please call for help in making arrangements to board your pet.

ALCOHOL

We are a dry property. There is No Drinking on the Premises. 

SMOKING & VAPING

All our rooms are non-smoking, as is the retreat center itself, including all areas around the house. Also no candles or incense please. We can direct you to outdoor locations where you may smoke. If you smoke in your room there will be a $250 cleaning charge. 

WEAPONS

For the safety of our guests, we do not allow weapons of any kind on site.

GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICIES

Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver's license. Gift certificates are transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.

COMMUNICATION

Cellphone coverage inside is not reliable. Wi-Fi calling is available. We offer complimentary WiFi throughout the retreat center.

MINIMUM STAY

A two-night minimum stay is required for booking on-line.
